Hard to come by the works of Brad Pearson, one of the best sculptors in US. This is a statue titled "The Scot" it is a solid bronze, size 15: high on the 7" x 9" base. Mr. Pearson's works are the most anatomically correct expression of early golfers. His works stand at the Royal Ancient Clubhouse in St. Andrews, The World Golf Hall of Fame in Florida and he is collected by some of the most important figures in golf. Working as a golf course superintendent for over 31 years and a sculptor since 1984, Brad Pearson has impressed many with his life-like bronze sculptures. Specializing mostly, but not exclusively, in golfing figures, Brad possesses a self-taught talent that has earned him such commendable commissions as creating a memorial piece of Old Tom Morris for the 75th Anniversary of the Golf Course Superintendent Association. The world-renowned sculpture now stands at the front entrance of the GCSAA building in Lawrence, Kansas, at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Florida, and in the foyer of the British Golf Museum adjacent to the St. Andrews Clubhouse in St. Andrews, Scotland. Golf has played a large part in Brad's life. He is a low handicap golfer, course superintendent, memorabilia collector, and amateur golf course architect and builder. Through his bronze sculptures, Brad has attempted to give an enduring tribute to the great and glorious game of golf.
