This 1927 "Essentials of Golf" is signed by Abe Mitchell. Signed "Yours Sincerely- Abe. Mitchell", nice strong signature. Abe Mitchell was a renowned British golfer, Finishing in the top 10 if the Open Championship 8 times. Abe Mitchell was Samuel Ryder's personal golf instructor from 1925 at Verulam Golf Club, St. Albans. The Figure on top of the Ryder Cup Trophy is modeled after Mitchell. Great historical read.
