Circa mid 1880's W.M. Park Musselburgh Mashie Niblick With Shaft Stamp. William Park Jr was born in Musselburgh in 1864, son of the famous William Park who was the first ever Open Champion in 1860. He became known as the best clubmaker during the period 1885 and 1895 he patented a number of clubs including a Lofting iron, a Driving Cleek, a Brassie.
