Mort Olman met Bob in 1972 and they became good friends. Mort was a grandfather of golf collectibles and published several books on the subject. Robert Trent Jones (1906-2000) was a legendary British-American golf course architect, often called the "father of modern golf course architecture." He is known for designing famous U.S.Open venues like Hazeltine and Oakland Hills. He redesigned Augusta National (Amen Corner), Baltusrol, Spyglass Hill (Pebble Beach).
