Original framed 1904 images of the boy with a cricket bat. It looks very similar to Pinehurst Golfing Lad. Framed in original wooden frames with all original information on the back of the frames. Frank Presbrey, Pinehurst's first advertising counselor, in the early 1900s created a young boy that appeared in the resort’s early advertising and calendars who was called “The Golf Lad,” “The Golf Boy,” "Putter Boy." Mr. Presbrey traveled and perhaps it gave the idea to add to the boy a golf club to replace a cricket bat. Interesting history.
