Very detailed bronze sculpture of Harry Vardon by Elkington on wood pedestal base. No markings. The statue is 12" high on 3" high wood base and 5.5" diameter. The figure was sculpted by Hal Ludlow and cast by Elkington foundry. Harry Vardon (1870-1937) was a champion golfer and member of Great Triumvirate of the sport, together with J.H. Taylor and James Braid. In 1910 British artist Hal Ludlow produced a bronze statue of Harry Vardon. The bronze was cast by the Elkington Foundry.
