This One-of-Kind masterpiece was done by an Eastern European expert in hand fashioned Marquetry. Each color demarcation is a different piece of wood. Hand piecing like this is most rare and is rarely practiced. This is a brilliant piece of original artwork that could become a centerpiece of any serious collector or clubhouse. Marquetry is the art of inlaying different woods and other natural materials to create a picture. It has been around for thousands of years. Making this beautiful picture is a long and tedious process. Each piece has to be cut with the utmost attention to detail. Then they have to be assembled, re-cut and so on. For the finest work of art it may take as much as 10,000 man-hours. Each image contains up to 20 types wood in hundreds, if not thousands, of various shapes, sizes, and colors, which will form a composite image resembling a rich, three-dimensional oil painting. Crossed clubs at each corner is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and also the title at the bottom. Framed size 34" x 40" This is a remarkable piece of art.
